Safety on 2 Minute Store
Last updated: 23 October 2026
2 Minute Store provides the technology that independent businesses use to run their own online stores. Each store sells its own products and is responsible for them. We take reasonable measures to keep prohibited and misleading items off the platform: every new or changed product and picture is checked automatically before it goes live, anything unclear is reviewed by our team, and shoppers can report any product.
No system is perfect. If something misleading gets through, 2 Minute Store is not the seller and is not responsible for the store's products, prices or delivery. Once we learn of a problem we act quickly: we remove the item, act against the store under our Prohibited Items Policy, and help the authorities where the law requires.
Report a problem: help@2minutestore.com, or press “Report this product” on any product page.
How we check every product and picture
This is exactly what happens when a store owner adds or changes something:
1A store owner saves a product or a picture
Only the price, stock or on/off changed
Something shoppers see is new or changed
2Automatic checks
- Word list — over 300 words and phrases in English, Roman Urdu and Urdu, based on Pakistani law (PECA 2016 and its 2025 amendments, the Anti-Terrorism Act list of proscribed organisations, and our policy).
- AI review of the photos and text — gives a score from 0 to 100 for how clearly the item is allowed.
- Image check (where enabled) — looks for nudity, weapons, drugs and gore in the main picture.
Clear pass
Any doubt
3Our team reviews held items (usually within 1 working day)
4Strikes (each lasts 12 months)
5Appeals and fixing
Checks that keep running
- Shopper reports — every product page has a “Report this product” button; each report goes to our team.
- Weekly re-scan — every product is checked against the latest word list every week.
- Records — held items, strikes, suspensions and appeals are recorded, and we cooperate with lawful requests from the authorities, including the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA).
If you bought something from a store
- Each store sells and delivers its own products and handles its own returns and refunds — contact the store first (its details are on its Contact page and your order confirmation).
- If a store does not respond, or you think it is selling something illegal, dangerous or fake, report it to us. We can suspend the store and, where the law allows, share the seller's details with the authorities.
- Payments to stores go directly to the store's own account — 2 Minute Store never holds shoppers' money.
