Prohibited Items Policy
Last updated: 23 October 2026
Every store built with 2 Minute Store must sell only lawful products, in line with the laws of Pakistan. This policy is part of our Terms of Service and applies to every product, photo, description and post on every store, including stores with their own web address.
1. Items that may never be sold
- Weapons, firearms, ammunition, explosives, fireworks, and parts or accessories for them (including replicas that can be mistaken for real weapons).
- Narcotics, illegal drugs, psychoactive substances, and equipment for using or making them.
- Alcohol.
- Tobacco, cigarettes, e-cigarettes, vapes, nicotine products and shisha / hookah flavours.
- Prescription medicines, controlled drugs, injections, and health products not registered with DRAP; any product claiming to cure or treat a disease.
- Adult and sexual content, products or services.
- Gambling, lotteries, betting, prize schemes and related services.
- Counterfeit, replica or “first copy” branded goods, and anything that infringes copyright or trademarks (including pirated software, films, games and accounts).
- Stolen goods, and mobile phones or devices that are not PTA-approved where approval is required.
- Cryptocurrency, foreign currency exchange, investment schemes, loans, “get rich” and pyramid / multi-level schemes.
- Hacking tools, spyware, SIM cards and personal data (lists of people's phone numbers, CNICs, etc.).
- Government documents, IDs, certificates, licences, fake degrees, and police or military uniforms and insignia.
- Live animals of protected species, wildlife products (ivory, skins, etc.) and endangered plants.
- Hazardous chemicals, poisons, and pesticides banned in Pakistan.
- Anything promoting hatred, violence, terrorism or extremism, or offensive to religion; blasphemous content; desecration of holy books.
- Symbols, flags, slogans, merchandise or fundraising for proscribed organisations (Anti-Terrorism Act 1997 / NACTA list), or anything glorifying terrorism.
- Content against the integrity, security or defence of Pakistan, separatist material, maps that misrepresent Pakistan's borders, false or defamatory claims about the judiciary, the armed forces, Parliament, provincial assemblies or other state offices, and false information likely to cause fear, panic or unrest (PECA 2016, including its 2025 amendments).
- Using the names, logos or seals of government bodies (such as NADRA, FBR, PTA, BISP, the police or the armed forces) to sell products or promise jobs, registrations or payments; fake stamps and seals.
- Sexual images shared without consent, “leaked” videos, and any sexual content involving minors (reported to the authorities).
- Hacked accounts, card fraud, OTP bypass, pre-activated or unverified SIM cards, spy / tracking apps, identity data (NADRA, CNIC or SIM-owner data, call records) and counterfeit currency.
- Any other item whose sale is illegal in Pakistan or requires a licence the store owner does not hold.
2. Content that is not allowed
- False or misleading descriptions, prices or claims, and fake reviews.
- Photos, logos or text you do not have the right to use.
- Collecting payments for goods that are never delivered, or any other fraud.
3. How we enforce this policy
- Every store owner agrees to this policy when they sign up, and is responsible for everything listed on their store.
- Every new product, and every change to what shoppers see (name, descriptions, features, specifications, categories and photos), is checked automatically before it appears in the store: against this list (in English, Roman Urdu and Urdu), and by an automated AI review of the photos and text. Only products that clearly pass go live; anything unclear is held, hidden, until our team has reviewed it — usually within 1 working day.
- The checks look for weapons, drugs, adult content, alcohol, tobacco and vapes, prescription medicines, counterfeit goods, betting, crypto and money schemes, political and offensive content, and other prohibited items. A store owner cannot show a held product until it has been cleared.
- Every product page has a “Report this product” link; each report goes to our team.
- We may review any store, product or post at any time.
- We keep records of held and removed items, strikes and suspended stores, and cooperate with law-enforcement requests made under Pakistani law, including reports to the relevant authorities where the law requires it.
4. What happens if a store breaks this policy
- A held product is not a penalty. If our team finds it is allowed, it goes live and nothing is recorded against the store.
- Strikes. When our team confirms a product breaks this policy, it is removed and the store may receive a strike. Each strike lasts 12 months.
- 1 strike — only that product is removed; the store works normally.
- 2 strikes — a 30-day warning: every new or changed product is reviewed by our team before it goes live.
- 3 strikes — the store is suspended: shoppers cannot see it or order. The owner can still use the admin to fix things and handle existing orders, and can ask us to reopen the store once the problem is fixed.
- 4 strikes, or one severe violation (weapons, explosives, drugs, sexual content involving minors, terrorism, or fraud) — the store is closed permanently, without refund, and its owner may not open a new store.
- Fixing and appeals. Store owners see every held product, strike and decision under Store Safety in their admin, and can press “This is a mistake” on any of them. We answer within 2 working days; an accepted request restores the product and removes the strike.
- Orders already placed with a suspended or closed store remain the store's responsibility to deliver or refund.
5. Report a store or product
Email help@2minutestore.com with the store's web address and, if you can, a link to the product. We review reports within 2 working days. Reports of anything dangerous or clearly illegal are handled first.
